Ken knows that artful strategy and clarity of messaging, expressed in an emotionally compelling fashion, leads to capturing customers. This leads to driving shareholder value and complete client contentment.
Ken is the former CEO of Italia/Gal, an advertising agency named “Hottest Agency in the West” by Adweek Magazine. Prior to that, Ken was COO of Omnicom’s Tracey-Locke. Former clients include Disney, Taco Bell, 7Up, Pepsi, Doritos, KFC, Universal Studios Hollywood, Global Cash Card, Wells Fargo, Whole Foods Market, Johnny Rockets, and Baja Fresh.
Ken launched the wildly successful “Make a Run for the Border” for Taco Bell and invented the value menu concept, which changed the price of fast food in America. He converted “Juice Club” to “Jamba Juice,” and repositioned Smart & Final from a B2B brand to a brand that marketed to consumers.
Ken is an artist of strategy. He can draw from decades of experience. He believes that purposeful strategy and bold creativity never go out of style.
Nancy Rainford

Hailing from New York City, Nancy’s multifaceted career began in entertainment from Broadway script reader to talent agent, casting director, manager, author, TV & theatre writer/producer.
Shortly after moving to LA, Nancy borrowed $10k from her dad and started her own talent agency. “I won’t lie - it was hard. I was a very young, relatively inexperienced, woman of color, I had a lot to prove.”
Over the years she’s represented hundreds of actors working in television, film, and theatre; her work in casting includes over 30 television series and pilots for ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, WB, HBO as well as feature films.
Nancy is the author of How to Agent Your Agent, (Lone Eagle/Random House), written for “anyone who needs an agent,” and aptly dubbed “the book your agent doesn’t want you to read.”
As co-owner of Shiny Objects, she’s “all in” on creative problem-solving and communicating with passion and authenticity.
